University High School Charter's Instructional Focus
Students will skillfully communicate evidence-based arguments

University High School Charter provides students with access to a challenging, standards-based curriculum focused on preparing students for the rigors of college and professional careers.  To support students in college and career success, Uni's Instructional Focus is that all students will skillfully be able to communicate evidence-based arguments.

Uni offers a full complement of courses in all subject areas, including 23 Advanced Placement courses, and more than two dozen honors courses.  In addition, Uni offers career preparation courses in the technical arts, sports medicine and computer science as well as the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program to support students in entering college or university directly after high school.  Uni is a partner with West Los Angeles Community College and offers college courses on our campus through out the year.

Course descriptions for the core subjects can be accessed on each departments page. Links to state and national standards, as well as other resources, are available on each academic department page.
